Just watched a pretty interesting sci fi thriller from 1974 mike hodges the terminal man starring george segal joan hackett jill clayburgh richard dysart and ian wolfe. The terminal man is a novel by american writer michael crichton about the dangers of mind control it was published in april 1972 and also serialized in playboy in march april and may 1972 in 1974 it was made into a film of the same name . The terminal man is so far my least favorite of all michael crichtons novels im almost finished reading all of his fiction books but i couldnt rate it lower than three stars because this is crichton for pitys sakehes one of my favorite authors. The terminal man is a 1974 film directed by mike hodges based on the 1972 novel of the same name by michael crichton it stars george segal the story centers on the immediate dangers of mind control and the power of computers . The terminal man is a book that stephen king convinced me to read i read kings short story called the woman in the room the story is in kings collection night shift and briefly mentions how according to crichton putting wires in peoples heads can be a very bad scene
